We offer high quality Physical Education and School Sports programmes to primary schools across Suffolk and Essex. Our qualified coaches deliver curriculum lessons to both key stage 1 and 2, delivering in line with the National Curriculum targets and assessments. Our coaches are trained in a wide range of curriculum sports and complete regular continuing professional development in-service training.
Alternatively, we are a training provider of school sport apprenticeships offering the provision of level 2 and 3 NVQ apprenticeships in Physical Education and School Sport.
Our PPA packages includes the planning, delivery and assessment of PE & School Sport for key stage 1 and 2, working in line with the National Curriculum. Our team of qualified National Governing Body coaches will take an active lead role in enhancing your PE & School Sport provision. All coaches will also have an enhanced DBS/CRC check and will have formal qualifications in safeguarding children and emergency first aid.
We also provide extra-curricular activities through breakfast, lunch or after-school clubs. These sessions can help enhance your pupil’s academic performance, classroom behaviour and their confidence. These sessions can also be made specific to help develop your school sports teams.
We have already established strong relationships with school sport providers in Essex over the last three years. With these partnerships we provide an experienced and qualified Tutor Assessor who provides the training for the apprentice to complete their NVQ level 2 and 3 Diploma qualifications in supporting PESS.
The PESS apprenticeship framework aims to provide new apprentices and existing employees with an introduction to a number of roles through engagement with PE and School Sport, including teaching, activity leadership and coaching of young people. The qualifications provide the apprentice with guidance on further opportunities, including how to contribute to PESS programmes as a sports leader, coach and teaching assistant. A level 2 qualification is available in the first year with the opportunity to progress to level 3 in year two, both competence-based qualifications that confirms occupational competency for those operating in a school sport setting. Alternatively, an apprentice can enrol onto the level 3 qualification in their first year dependant on their previous qualifications and experience delivering school sport.
