The Academy is delighted to announce that U14 player, Dylan Mashonganyika, has signed a two-year deal with Ipswich Town.

Before joining Needham Market FC at U13 EJA level, Dylan played for local side Ipswich Valley Rangers, where he began his football journey at the age of six. During his time there, he was coached by Steve Carpenter, Mike Baker and Bill Elliot, who played an important role in his early development.

Since arriving at Needham Market, Dylan has consistently impressed across a variety of positions, showing not only a clear passion for the game but also an impressive football intelligence and maturity for his age.

Head of Youth Football, James Mant, commented: "This is a fantastic story for everyone who has worked closely with Dylan from an early age. Full credit goes to Steve, Mike and Bill who have not only coached him, but also supported him in his growth as both a player and a person. Ipswich Town have been monitoring Dylan since he joined us at U13 level, and this move provides him with a great opportunity to represent his hometown club. We wish Dylan every success and look forward to following his progress."
