Lyla Studd Charity Parachute Jump

Lyla Studd, Needham Market’s U16 Girls striker, is completing a parachute jump with mum Teri to raise money for Lucy Air Ambulance for Children.

The parachute jump is in memory of Lyla’s nephew, Sebastian who was born prematurely in Sheffield at 23 weeks and 6 days. Lucy Air Ambulance for Children stepped in to safely transport Sebastian and his family from Sheffield to Norwich ready for his ongoing treatment.

Lucy Air Ambulance for Children is the only charity in the UK that funds flights for children to hospital by aeroplane. They exist to ensure children are able to access essential medical care regardless of distance. The NHS has no dedicated funding for air transfers and so relies on Lucy AAC's support.

Alongside the parachute jump is a raffle with some wonderful prizes of alcohol hampers and vouchers all kindly donated by Tesco Lowestoft, Dean, Sharon and Stuart. For every £5 you sponsor Lyla and Teri you will also gain you one entry into the raffle.

On behalf of Needham Market Football Club, good luck ladies!
