Hugh Cullum has donated his English School FA U18 shirt to Needham Market Academy as a parting gesture to show his gratitude towards the academy staff, teachers and coaches.
Cullum joined Needham Market Academy in 2020 to complete his further education alongside full-time football and since has become an integral squad member of Needham Market FC First team as well as representing England.
Hugh said: “I hope my shirt will help inspire the next generation of students who attend the academy and encourage them to take every opportunity that arises.”
Hugh graduates from the academy this summer and will be enrolling onto a Performance Sports Analysis degree at the University of Suffolk.
Academy Director Robert Peace said: “We are very proud of Hugh’s achievements and it is important to showcase these. Hugh has been a hard working student and we wish him all the very best in his higher education studies with the University of Suffolk.”
