SUFFOLK PRIDE AS ACADEMY STUDENTS PROGRESS TO NEXT ROUND OF ENGLISH SCHOOLS TRIALS

Current academy students, Louie McDonagh Kudiabor and Hugh Cullum are the only two players from Suffolk to be accepted into the next round of English Schools National Representative Squad trials.

The English Schools’ FA (ESFA) is the National Governing Body for Schools’ Football in England and provides opportunities for young people to have the experience of playing at high levels.

Hugh Cullum said: “A huge thank you to our Academy Director Robert Peace for putting us forward for the trials. We’re thankful to have the backing from all the staff at the academy to encourage us to take this opportunity.”

Louie McDonagh Kudiabor said: “It's an incredible feeling to be the only two players from Suffolk to be selected. The trial standards were high and I feel honoured to be making Suffolk proud and look forward to the next steps of the trials.”

Academy Director, Robert Peace said: “This is great news for Louie and Hugh and all of us at Needham Market Academy wish them well in the next round of the trials for ESFA. They should both be proud to reach this stage alongside the fact they are the only players from Suffolk to be representing the South East at this stage.”
