Needham Market Academy is delighted to have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with The University of Lincoln to now recognise the Academy as an official partner.
The partnership means that the University of Lincoln will provide our students with special access to their facilities where they can experience applied learning in the university’s state-of-the-art facilities. Our students can also benefit from the expertise of their academic staff through guest lectures and if required, receive careers support.
Another bonus of this partnership is that our students will benefit from a reduced tariff if they decide to apply for one of the Sports programmes at the University of Lincoln.
Catherine Thomas, Head of the School of Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Lincoln said: “We welcomed a group of highly motivated academy students onto our campus which provided an enjoyable experience for our Lincoln staff and students who worked with the group and it was a unanimous opinion, we felt that the Football scholars were both highly engaged and enthusiastic- everything we would want from students.”
“We believe this is a well-suited partnership, both Needham Market Academy and the University of Lincoln are committed to providing exceptional experiences for students and with both organisations having this same ethos, I believe we will work extremely well together.”
Robert Peace, Needham Market Academy Director says, “This partnership demonstrates the importance we place on both our education provision and the pathways students have after graduating from Needham Market Academy. To have the University of Lincoln as a partner is a testament to our recent development and provides students the best experience and is a great endorsement to the academic attainment we provide.”
